George Gracie

Senior Pastor

He received Christ on February 9, 1992, at Grace Bible Baptist Church. His wife accepted Christ just a few months earlier, in November 1991, at the same church.

They have been blessed with four children—three sons and one daughter (who went home to be with the Lord in February 2010). Today, they cherish their growing family, which includes ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Since 1994, George and his wife have been faithfully serving the Lord. George has spent decades leading and teaching teenagers and their families in three different churches. In 2014, God placed a call on his heart to plant a church in their own neighborhood of Brooklyn Park.

Alongside pastoring full-time, George also works a full-time job. In their free time, he and his wife enjoy going on cruises together.

For George, staying in the center of God’s will is the highest priority. He strongly believes that family is essential—if you don’t care for your family first, everything else begins to fall apart. That’s why he makes it a point to spend much of his “off” time with his family, who remain his greatest earthly blessing.

Darryl J. Stalter

Pastor

He was raised in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State. He joined the United States Army in 1995. While serving at Fort Hood, Texas the Lord called him and saved him in 1996. After which he was discipled by the Soldiers’ Hospitality House, a soldier outreach ministry of Cadence International. He then was transferred to Germany.

After his service in the military came to an end in 2001, he came back to the Soldiers’ Hospitality House to serve as a volunteer while completing his undergraduate studies. There he assisted with the discipleship of soldiers and the leading of Bible studies. He led the singles ministry of Grace Bible Church in Harker Heights, Texas during that church’s early days. He completed his undergraduate studies, receiving an Associates of Arts in Social Science from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tarleton State University.

He met his wife, Deborah (originally from Catonsville, Maryland), in January 2007 while leading a Bible study at the Soldiers’ Hospitality House. The Lord had moved her to Texas to assist with starting afterschool Bible clubs on Fort Hood while serving as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship. After much counsel and prayer, they were married by the end of September that year. Once their first child was born in the last part of 2008, they moved to Maryland to be closer to family.

After having several children, working several jobs, and serving in the various local ministries of Grace Baptist Bible Church (Catonsville, Maryland) and Faith Baptist Church (Glen Burnie, Maryland), Pastor Darryl was able to complete his seminary education, receiving a Master of Divinity from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014. He then joined Pastor George in the Lord’s work at Brooklyn Park Community Church in 2015, being ordained and installed as a pastor/elder shortly thereafter.

Darryl and Deborah now have eight children, ranging from a year and a half through seventeen. They reside in Windsor Mill, Maryland and continue to open their home viewing discipleship as one of presence, not just presentation. Darryl has a heart for diligently preaching and teaching God’s Word, desiring others to have a heart for God’s Word as well.
